Salman Chattha

Partner & CEO

McGill University graduate with close to a decade in North America across PwC’s consulting practice and the investment banking teams at RBC and National Bank of Canada.

As a principal at a leading Pakistan-focused venture firm, he invested in Seed and Series A companies and advised international investors deploying capital into Pakistan. He led investments in Abhi, Oladoc and Bykea, all still profitable and growing.

At Bricks, he works with clients in the US and Canada, including second-time founders who have raised US$20M+ and enterprises such as Work Authority, Nationex and Agilent.

Waleed Tariq

Partner & CTO

McGill University and University of Waterloo graduate with nearly a decade of North American engineering experience, including BlackBerry (RIM) and Ford.

Part of the founding team of a Pakistan-based software firm, where he led delivery for six years across 50+ clients, including Hewlett Packard, Fabric (a US billion-dollar company) and Emaar.

He built XStak (an order management system) and XPay (a payment gateway) for the Pakistani market, both now expanding into MENA, and has managed teams of 50+ developers.
